Master of Computer Applications
MCA is a 2-year postgraduate degree in computer science and software applications, recognised by UGC and AICTE. It is designed for students from non-engineering backgrounds — primarily BCA, BSc (CS/IT/Maths) — who want a strong technical career in software.
The programme was restructured from 3 years to 2 years under NEP 2020. Most universities now offer a 4-semester programme.
